The studio
One team, the whole way through.
You work directly with the engineers writing the code. No account layer, no hand-off to a junior team once the pitch is signed.
Three domains, one through-line.
Nelo· New York fintech
A live consumer-payments product on card rails, at consumer scale, running on the Mastercard network. Mastercard is the network the product reaches through that engagement, not a client of the studio.
ANZ Plus· Australian digital bank
The ground-up digital bank from ANZ, one of Australia's big four. We helped build it from early on into a product that has since publicly passed a million customers, a milestone that is ANZ's, not ours. The work: card payments on the Visa network, digital wallets, fraud and scam prevention, passwordless sign-in, and the discipline of shipping to a national-scale banking app every day.
BAE Systems Applied Intelligence· Melbourne, defence group
The cyber and data side of the defence group. High-assurance systems for a national telco and the national broadband network: carrier-scale, critical-infrastructure data, where integrity and auditability are the point, not a feature. That is where the security-first instinct comes from.
The thread through all three: regulated, high-stakes work where correctness is not negotiable and a wrong call in the architecture compounds fast. The studio is based in Tallinn, working with teams from New York to Sydney. What it brings is that judgement: which problems to solve now, which to defer, and how to build something a small team can actually run.
Companies we've worked with
Four things we hold in person.
Outcomes, not hours
Work is scoped to what needs to ship, not a seat on a timesheet. You are buying a result, not our calendar.
Production-grade by default
Type-safe contracts, infrastructure as code, CI, and tests. The unglamorous parts that decide whether a thing holds at three in the morning.
Built to be handed back
Clear code, real documentation, infrastructure your team can own without us. The engagement ends; you keep something you can reason about.
AI, held to judgement
We build production-grade AI features and use the models daily to move faster, with an experienced eye on what to trust and what to check by hand.
Working on something in that world?
