Fractional CTO & Advisory
Technical leadership without the full-time hire, architecture calls, hiring, and the hard "should we even build this" conversations.
- Architecture and technology decisions you can defend later
- Technical due diligence and code/infra reviews
- Hiring support, what roles, what to ask, how to assess
- A steady second opinion when the stakes are high
What this is
Some decisions do not need more hands. They need judgement from someone who has made the same call before and watched how it aged. Build or buy. Whether the architecture you are being sold is right, or just impressive in the room. Whether the person you are about to hire can do what the CV says they can.
We work as a fractional CTO or technical advisor: present enough to hold the context that matters, light enough that you are not carrying a full-time exec you do not need yet.
How we work
This is mostly judgement and plain talk. We will tell you when the simple option is the right one, when the expensive option is the cheaper one once you count a year of running it, and when the thing you are about to build does not need building at all. That last answer is free, and it is often the valuable one.
For investors and acquirers, the same eye becomes technical due diligence: a clear read on whether a codebase and a team are what the pitch says they are, and where the risk is actually hiding.
Good fit if
- You are a founder making technical calls outside your own expertise, and want a second opinion you can trust.
- You are hiring engineers and want help getting the assessment right the first time.
- You are weighing up a company or a product and need an honest technical read before you sign.
